Cesar Cardona

Justicia y Equidad Grant Coordinator

Cesar Cardona works as a Grants Coordinator focusing on the development, management, and distribution of USDA federal grant funds to sub-awardees in California, New Mexico, and Illinois. He has over 15 years of experience in various environments, including non-profits, Fortune 100 companies, and startups.

Before joining GreenLatinos, Cesar was at Toyota as a Product Manager, where he spearheaded strategic planning for both hardware and software product implementation. He also worked in two major operational startups, Alto Pharmacy and Lime, where he accomplished reducing risks, improving operational efficiencies, and successfully launching 14 markets. At Columbia University Medical Center, he managed funds for Principal Investigators from NIA-NIH in the Neurology Department, ensuring effective financial oversight and compliance.

Cesar holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a B.A. in Technology, Society, and Business from the University of California, Berkeley. Cesar is passionate about developing cities where all citizens have equal access to resources. His travels have deepened his appreciation for how cities around the world address access to culture, education, food, transportation, and outdoor activities.
